Do You Know Him? Newark Police Searching for Man Wanted for Theft

Newark, NJ – Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is calling for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a recent theft. On June 24, 2024, at around 4:15 PM, a wallet was stolen from a parked vehicle on the 70 block of Ferry Street.

Surveillance footage captured the suspect entering the parked vehicle. The car’s owner discovered her vehicle ransacked and her wallet missing upon her return. Following the incident, the stolen credit and debit cards were used at a local fast food restaurant and a deli.
