WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ — Police in West Long Branch are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman captured on surveillance video in connection with a theft investigation at a local Dollar General store.

The theft happened April 25 at the Dollar General in West Long Branch, according to the West Long Branch Police Department.

Investigators released surveillance images Thursday showing the woman inside the store during the incident.

Police have not released additional details about what was allegedly stolen.

Detectives are urging anyone who recognizes the woman or has information connected to the investigation to contact Detective Szatkowski at 732-229-5000 extension 250.

Authorities said all tips will remain anonymous.

The investigation remains active.
