Double shooting rocks Baltimore leaving one dead, one wounded

Baltimore, MD — A 26-year-old man was fatally shot and another injured Wednesday afternoon in a double shooting on Ravenwood Avenue, police confirmed.

Officers responded around 3:20 p.m. to a ShotSpotter alert in the 3600 block of Ravenwood Avenue and found one male victim inside a residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A second 26-year-old male victim was discovered behind the residence with a gunshot wound to the leg. Paramedics took him to a local hospital for treatment of injuries described as non-life-threatening.

Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances of the shooting and have not yet released information about possible suspects or a motive.
