DOVER, DE – A credit card stolen during a Dover home burglary allegedly resurfaced in the hands of another person, and police are now asking the public to help identify the suspect accused of unlawfully using it.

The Dover Police Department released an image of the person Monday while seeking information that could lead investigators to an identification.

Police said the credit card had previously been stolen during a residential burglary.

The person shown in the department’s public appeal is suspected of unlawfully using the stolen card.

Investigators also did not disclose where the stolen credit card was allegedly used, how much was charged to it or what was purchased.

The department did not indicate whether investigators believe the person sought was involved in the original burglary.
