Drive-by shooting in Baltimore leaves man with multiple gunshot wounds

Man hospitalized after late-night shooting in Baltimore’s Southwest District

Baltimore, MD – A 28-year-old man was rushed to the hospital early Wednesday after being shot in a Southwest Baltimore neighborhood, police said.

Officers responded to the 3900 block of Stokes Drive just before 1 a.m., after receiving reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.

Southwest District detectives are actively investigating the shooting. So far, no suspects have been identified, and investigators have not determined a motive for the attack.

Police have not said whether the shooting may be connected to any other incidents in the area. No additional injuries were reported.
