Driver flees after fatally striking man in Baltimore

Baltimore man killed in early morning hit and run on North Fremont Avenue

Baltimore, MD – A pedestrian was struck and killed in West Baltimore early Wednesday morning in what police are investigating as a fatal hit-and-run.

Officers responded around 3:30 a.m. to the 1000 block of North Fremont Avenue, where they found an adult male lying unresponsive in the roadway with severe injuries. Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Crash Team detectives are handling the investigation and working to identify the driver who fled the area.
