LAUREL, MD — A narcotics investigation at a Laurel motel led to the arrest of three men Thursday after authorities executed a search warrant and recovered illegal drugs and cash.

Western District detectives launched the investigation in April following reports of suspected drug activity at the Travelodge located at 3380 Laurel Fort Meade Road. The probe culminated on June 5 with a coordinated search of the premises.

During the search, officers seized approximately 9 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 262 grams of suspected cannabis, and $1,485 in cash. Three individuals were arrested at the scene and charged in connection with the discovery.

The suspects were identified as Dion Lovell Watkins, 30, of Laurel; Antonio Jerome Julien, 35, of District Heights; and Christian Reval Coles, 31, also of Laurel.
