Staten Island, NY – Two men are being sought after allegedly distracting and robbing a 43-year-old man inside a Staten Island business earlier this week, police said.

The incident occurred Monday around 7:30 p.m. inside a commercial establishment at 341 Port Richmond Avenue. According to police, one man approached the victim and asked him a question while a second man reached into the victim’s front pocket and removed cash without permission. The pair then fled on foot toward an unknown location. No injuries were reported.

The first suspect is described as a man with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a gray sweater, black shirt, black pants, black sneakers, and a light-colored hat. The second suspect is described as a man with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, light-colored pants, and carrying a black bag.

Investigators are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the NYPD.
