EAST CANTON, Ohio — A lucky lottery player from East Canton won $150,000 in the Wednesday, January 29 Powerball drawing, Ohio Lottery officials announced Tuesday.

Fred purchased his winning ticket at Top of the Mark Drive Thru, located at 4135 E Lincoln Street in East Canton. He selected his own numbers, matching four of the five white balls—8, 12, 31, 33, 38—plus the Powerball number 18 to secure the third-tier prize of $50,000.

Fred also matched the Power Play number, which was 3, tripling his prize to $150,000.

The next Powerball drawing, scheduled for Wednesday, features an estimated jackpot of $113 million.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to support education across the state.
