FLUSHING, NY – The NYPD is searching for a suspect who violently attacked and robbed an 87-year-old man outside a residential building in Queens last month.
According to police, the incident happened around 3:20 p.m. on December 8, 2025, near Bowne Street and Holly Avenue in the 109th Precinct. Investigators say the elderly victim was entering his building when an unidentified individual approached him, punched him in the face, and shoved him to the ground before stealing his cell phone.
The suspect then fled northbound on Bowne Street. The victim sustained injuries to his face and body but was reported to be in stable condition following the attack. Police have not released a description or image of the suspect as the investigation continues.
