NEW YORK, NY – A distressing assault took place in front of 206 Front Street, where a 67-year-old man was attacked with an unknown chemical spray. The incident occurred on Monday, March 18, at around 10:23 AM.
After being sprayed in the face and suffering from pain and burning, the victim was transported to NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital in stable condition. The assailant, described as a male with a dark complexion, 5’8” to 5’11” tall, heavy build, and a salt and pepper beard, fled the scene northbound on Front Street.
He was last observed wearing a black hat, red jacket over a black shirt, blue jeans, and blue and white sneakers.
