ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA – A serious motor vehicle collision occurred on Thursday at approximately 6:42 PM at the intersection of Seminole Trail and Hill Top View Lane, leading to one fatality and several injuries. The Albemarle County Police Department and Fire Rescue teams promptly responded to the incident.

Upon arrival, first responders found a two-vehicle accident involving a sedan and an SUV. The driver of the sedan sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. However, the sedan’s two passengers were rushed to UVA Medical Center. Tragically, 23-year-old Shahd Boz Al Asaal from Charlottesville, one of the passengers, later died due to the severe injuries sustained in the crash.
