The Gloucester Township Police Department responded to the scene following reports of the collision at the intersection of the Old Black Horse Pike and Landing Rd.

At approximately 2:51 AM on Saturday, April 20, 2024, officers arrived to find the pedestrian unconscious in the roadway, sustaining severe head injuries. Despite immediate medical intervention by officers and emergency responders, the victim tragically succumbed to her injuries.
