DUMFRIES, VA – A confrontation outside Club Tempo in Dumfries escalated into a deadly shooting early Saturday morning, resulting in the death of 38-year-old Carvell Jarmain Williams of Warrenton. The incident occurred around 2:10 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, according to Prince William County police.

Williams, critically injured during the altercation, received first aid from responding officers before being transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Additionally, two vehicles in the club’s parking lot were damaged by gunfire, though no further injuries have been reported.

As of now, no suspects have been apprehended in connection with the shooting. Police reported that their investigation is ongoing, aiming to uncover the events leading to the tragic incident. Authorities believe the shooting was not a random act and are urging witnesses or those with relevant information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
