Rostraver Township, PA – Pennsylvania State Police have filed criminal charges against Jacob Posey, 23, of Fayette City, in connection with a fatal accident that occurred in March on Interstate 70.

Posey has been charged with homicide by vehicle, reckless driving, careless driving, and several other summary citations. Investigators revealed that Posey was speeding at approximately 118 miles per hour when he collided with another vehicle, resulting in the death of the other motorist, Tori Demo of Washington County.

According to witnesses, attempts were made to rescue Demo, but her vehicle burst into flames, preventing any rescue efforts. The excessive speed at which Posey was traveling is believed to have caused the deadly accident.
