Gas main repair closes part of Roberts Road in Holmdel

February 8, 2025

HOLMDEL, N.J. — A section of Roberts Road is closed between Crawfords Corner Road and Wilson Boulevard due to an emergency gas main repair, the Holmdel Township Police Department announced Saturday.

Wilson Boulevard remains accessible from the south, while crews work to complete the repairs. Officials have not reported any injuries or evacuations related to the incident.

The closure is expected to last until 5 p.m., though authorities have not ruled out possible delays. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes to avoid congestion in the area.

“The safety of our residents is our priority,” the Holmdel Township Police Department said in a social media post.

The emergency repair work is ongoing as officials monitor the situation and coordinate traffic control.
