Glen Burnie man arrested after early morning strong-arm robbery

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 23-year-old Baltimore man was arrested Sunday morning after allegedly robbing a woman of her phone during a confrontation in Glen Burnie, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

Officers from the Eastern District responded around 6:00 a.m. on June 1 to the 200 block of Ritchie Lane following a report of a strong-arm robbery. The female victim told police that an acquaintance forcibly took her phone during the incident.

Shortly after the report, officers located the suspect in the area of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and 8th Avenue. The suspect, identified as Kason Saddiq Hill, informed officers that he had discarded the stolen phone.

Police conducted a search of the area but were unable to recover the device. Hill was taken into custody and formally charged in connection with the robbery. Details regarding the specific charges or Hill’s bond status have not yet been released.

The victim was not reported injured, and police have not stated whether the phone contained any sensitive or personal information.
