Gunfire Erupts Between Two Vehicles on Virginia Highway, One Person Critical

CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon involving two vehicles on S. Military Highway, leaving one person seriously injured.

Chesapeake Police responded to the 1700 block of S. Military Highway at approximately 4:40 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire between vehicles. Upon arrival, officers located one individual with serious injuries.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. No updates on their condition have been released.

Investigation ongoing as police seek public assistance

Authorities have not disclosed a motive or whether any suspects have been identified. The incident remains under active investigation.
