Queens, NY – A 29-year-old man was shot Tuesday night near the intersection of Sutphin Boulevard and 95 Avenue in Queens, and investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying the two suspects involved.

According to the NYPD, the shooting happened at approximately 10 p.m. in the vicinity of the northeast corner of Sutphin Boulevard and 95 Avenue, within the confines of the 103 Precinct. Authorities said two unidentified individuals approached the victim before one suspect removed a firearm from the second suspect’s backpack and fired, striking the 29-year-old man.

Suspects fled on foot

Police said both suspects ran from the scene, fleeing eastbound on 95 Avenue after the shooting. The victim’s condition was not disclosed in the information released by investigators.

The NYPD has not released descriptions of the suspects or announced any arrests as the investigation remains active.
