HARTFORD, CT—A shooting incident in front of BMD Grocery at 594 Broad Street resulted in one person being wounded. The event occurred earlier today and involved a victim who was shot in the thigh.
Prior to the shooting, two ShotSpotter activations were recorded: one indicating eight rounds and another ten rounds. The areas of Hungerford and Russ Streets are also included within the crime scene perimeter. Witnesses reported seeing the shooter fleeing the area.
