PROVIDENCE, RI—A 25-year-old man was seriously injured during a shooting on Friday evening in Providence. The incident, which involved an argument, took place shortly after 7:00 PM on General Street, located between Douglas Avenue and Admiral Street.

Detectives from the Providence Police, led by Major David Lapatin, have yet to apprehend a suspect in connection with the shooting. Despite the severity of the situation, the injuries sustained by the victim are not expected to be life-threatening.
