Homeless Man Found Dead, Shot in Landover

LANDOVER, MD – The Homicide Unit of the Prince George’s County Police Department is currently investigating a fatal shooting that took place on the evening of June 20 in Landover. The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Michael Thomas, who had no fixed address.

The incident occurred around 5:15 pm in the 2500 block of Kent Town Place. Upon arrival, officers found Thomas outside with gunshot wounds. He was promptly transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Detectives are actively seeking to identify any suspects and establish a motive for the shooting. The police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.
