Rockville Shooting Leaves Man Wounded; Police Seek Information

ROCKVILLE, MD – A shooting incident on Thursday evening prompted a swift response from the Rockville City Police Department and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services. Authorities were called to the scene at the intersection of Blandford St. and E. Argyle St. shortly after 8:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, first responders found a 26-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. Emergency aid was administered on the spot, and the victim was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.

Rockville City Police Department detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The department is urging anyone with information to come forward and contact Corporal R. McEvoy at 240-314-8983 to assist in the ongoing investigation.
