Newark, NJ – The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Newark office announced the arrest of a fugitive from Honduras wanted in his home country on charges related to illegal human trafficking.
ICE officials said that officers apprehended Darwin Dominguez Garcia, who is unlawfully present in the United States, on December 8, 2025. Dominguez Garcia is accused by Honduran authorities of involvement in multiple instances of human trafficking and similar criminal activity.
He was taken into ICE custody and is currently pending removal proceedings.
