*WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Wilkes-Barre City Police Department has reported an incident of identity theft involving a local resident. The victim, a 28-year-old male from Wilkes-Barre, PA, informed the police on Thursday at 5:00 PM about the fraudulent activities.

The incident occurred on Spring Street, where the victim visited City Headquarters to report the crime. According to the victim, an unknown individual used his personal information to open an account with Goldman Sachs Bank without his authorization.
