Jackson School District Will Be Closed Monday Jan 26 2026 Due to Snowstorm

JACKSON, NJ – The Jackson School District announced that all schools will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to the impact of a snowstorm. The announcement was made Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m.

According to district officials, when schools are closed due to weather conditions, there will be no district-provided transportation to any Jackson school, OCVTS Academy or Program, or any out-of-district or special education school. All practices, games, events, and activities for both in-district and outside organizations are canceled for Monday, January 26.

District staff will be working through Sunday and Monday to clear schools, parking lots, walkways, and buses so that schools can reopen as soon as conditions are safe. The district will provide an update on Monday regarding any schedule changes that may be necessary for Tuesday, January 27.

“Stay safe everyone,” the notice concluded.
