MANASSAS, VA – Police are investigating a residential burglary at the Assembly Manassas Apartments, which occurred on June 21 at approximately 5:51 PM. The apartment is located in the 10400 block of Butterfield Street.
According to the investigation, the burglar entered through an unsecured front door, taking advantage of the lack of forced entry to access the residence quietly. The residents reported that jewelry had been stolen during the incident.
Authorities are conducting further inquiries and urge anyone with information or who may have noticed suspicious activities in the area around the time of the burglary to contact the police. The investigation is ongoing, with officers working to retrieve the missing items and identify those responsible for the burglary.
