Large Police Presence on Herbertsville Road in Brick, Here’s Why

BRICK TOWNSHIP, N.J. – The Brick Township Police Department is conducting a training exercise today, December 17, that will result in a significant presence of police vehicles and personnel in the area of Herbertsville Road.

Officials announced the exercise, scheduled to take place between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., to inform the public and reduce concern over the increased law enforcement activity.

“For the safety of yourself and the first responders participating, please refrain from interacting or interfering with the training,” the department stated, urging residents to avoid the area when possible.

Authorities are encouraging the community to share the information to prevent unnecessary alarm or disruptions during the exercise.

The department emphasized that the training is a planned operation and does not pose a threat to public safety.
