BRICK TOWNSHIP, N.J. — The Brick Township Police Department has announced a joint training exercise scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, in partnership with the New Jersey State Police and Brick Township EMS/Rescue. The exercise will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Cherry Quay neighborhood, and residents should expect a significant presence of emergency vehicles and personnel in the area during this time.

The department emphasized that the increased activity is part of a planned drill and not an actual emergency. The training aims to improve coordination and preparedness among local and state emergency responders.

“For the safety of yourself and the first responders participating, please refrain from interacting or interfering with the training if you happen to see personnel operating,” the department advised in a statement shared on social media.

Residents are encouraged to share this information to prevent unnecessary alarm and to allow responders to conduct the exercise without disruptions.
