New York, NY — A late-night argument in Upper Manhattan turned violent when a man was stabbed multiple times and the attacker fled before police arrived.

The incident occurred around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, April 4, outside 106 Dyckman Street. According to police, a 32-year-old man was involved in a verbal dispute that escalated when the suspect displayed a cutting instrument.

Authorities said the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times in the back before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The victim’s condition has not been released, and no arrests have been made.
