New London area store sells ten thousand dollar CAshword winner

New London, CT – A scratch-off ticket sold along the Connecticut shoreline has delivered a $10,000 payout, lottery officials confirmed.

The winning $100,000 CAshword scratch-off ticket was sold Monday at A 1 Skc LLC in the Waterford section of New London. The ticket matched the required word combinations to claim the $10,000 prize.

The $100,000 CAshword game challenges players to uncover winning words for cash prizes, with tickets distributed randomly across the state. Connecticut Lottery officials note that retailers do not know where winning tickets will be sold until prizes are claimed.
