NANTICOKE, PA – A $5 Pennsylvania Lottery ticket exploded into a $114,026 prize Monday when a Win It All Fast Play ticket sold at a Nanticoke Weis Markets captured the game’s progressive top prize.
The Pennsylvania Lottery announced the Luzerne County win Tuesday.
The winning ticket was sold at Weis Markets, located at 1 Weis Plaza in Nanticoke.
The supermarket will receive a $500 bonus for selling the top-prize ticket.
Win It All is a $5 Pennsylvania Lottery Fast Play game with progressive top prizes beginning at $60,000. The prize grows until a progressive top-prize ticket is sold.
The Nanticoke ticket was worth $114,026.
Fast Play tickets are printed on demand from Lottery sales terminals or self-service touchscreen vending terminals. Unlike scratch-offs, players do not have to scratch the ticket, and there is no drawing to wait for.
The Pennsylvania Lottery said the $114,026 prize must be claimed and the ticket validated before the winner can be identified.
Fast Play prizes must be claimed within one year of the ticket’s purchase date.
Lottery prizes exceeding $5,000 are subject to applicable withholding.
