MANHATTAN, N.Y. — A 79-year-old man was injured after being pushed during a verbal dispute inside a Midtown commercial establishment late Sunday night, police said.

The incident occurred around 10:12 p.m. at 59 West 44th Street, where the victim was approached by an unidentified male who engaged him in a verbal altercation before pushing him into a chair.

The shove caused the elderly man to sustain a shoulder injury. Emergency medical services responded to the scene and treated the victim on site. He was not transported to a hospital.

Police said the suspect fled the location on foot in an unknown direction following the confrontation.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
