Man charged after threatening Shaler Elementary School during crisis center visit
Pittsburgh, PA — A 28-year-old man is facing criminal charges after allegedly making violent threats against multiple individuals and Shaler Elementary School while inside a crisis center in Pittsburgh, prompting an urgent investigation by Allegheny County Police.
Daniel White was arrested Monday morning at the Allegheny County Courthouse, just one day after he reportedly made the threats during a visit to resolve Crisis Services in the Homewood neighborhood. Authorities say White specifically threatened individuals as well as the elementary school before leaving the facility.
Shaler Township Police requested assistance from Allegheny County detectives on Sunday, and an investigation was quickly launched. White has now been charged with three counts of terroristic threats.
