PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — A man was critically wounded in a midday shooting Tuesday in North Philadelphia’s 22nd Police District, authorities said.

The shooting occurred around 12:37 p.m. in the 2300 block of North Carlisle Street, according to police.

The victim, an adult male, was taken by officers to Temple University Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
