Man exposes himself to 11 year old girl inside NYC apartment elevator

HARLEM, N.Y. – Police are searching for a man who allegedly exposed himself to an 11-year-old girl inside an elevator of a residential building in Harlem on Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 8 a.m. near 155th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard.

According to investigators, the child was riding in the elevator when the man entered and exposed himself before quickly leaving and fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a male last seen wearing a black and red baseball cap, a blue jacket with red and yellow stripes, black sweatpants, and multicolored sneakers.

Police have released surveillance footage of the individual and are asking anyone with information to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline.
