Man fatally stabbed on South Broadway in early morning attack

BALTIMORE, Md. — A man died early Saturday after being stabbed in the 100 block of South Broadway, prompting a homicide investigation in the city’s Central District.

Officers responded to a report of a serious cutting at approximately 2:09 a.m. on June 21. Upon arrival, they found an adult male suffering from a stab wound to the body.

Medics transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

Central District homicide detectives are now leading the investigation. No suspect information has been made public.
