The unidentified suspect reportedly led officers on a chase before entering the water, where bystanders captured video of him appearing to slap an alligator. In the footage, the man can be heard shouting graphic threats, including, “I’m gonna beat this [alligator]’s [expletive],” followed by additional vulgar and disturbing comments directed at the reptile.
