DOVER, NY — A months-long narcotics investigation led to the arrest of a Harlem Valley man Thursday morning, after authorities say he sold fentanyl and methamphetamine across multiple towns along the Metro-North Harlem line.
Gregory Iozzo, 42, was identified by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force as a key figure in the distribution of fentanyl in the Towns of Dover, Amenia, and Pawling. Investigators say Task Force Agents made several controlled purchases of fentanyl from Iozzo prior to obtaining a warrant for his arrest and residence.
Around dawn on Thursday, Task Force Agents, along with the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Emergency Services Unit and Road Patrol members, apprehended Iozzo without incident near his home on White Farm Road in Dover. Methamphetamine was found on him at the time of arrest, officials said.
Following the arrest, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Iozzo’s residence as part of the ongoing operation. Authorities have not disclosed the full extent of the evidence recovered during the search.
Iozzo was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree with intent to sell, a class B felony under New York State law.

Iozzo was arraigned in the Town of Dover Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail pending further proceedings. The case was handled with support from the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Bureau and the District Attorney’s Violent Crime and Dangerous Drug Unit.
Officials emphasized that the operation targeted narcotic sales across a regional corridor frequently used by commuters on the Harlem line, with the goal of disrupting the flow of dangerous substances into local communities.
