NYC subway attack leaves man thrown onto tracks
MANHATTAN, N.Y. — A routine moment on a subway platform turned dangerous when a man was suddenly shoved onto the tracks during an encounter with a stranger.
The incident happened around 3:44 p.m. on March 14 at the Dyckman Street Subway Station on the southbound “A” line.
A 35-year-old man was standing on the platform when an unidentified individual approached and struck up a conversation.
As the victim attempted to walk away, the suspect suddenly pushed him onto the track bed below before fleeing.
The suspect remains at large as police continue their search.
