Argument turns violent leaving man stabbed multiple times in Trafford attack
TRAFFORD, Pa. — A late-night argument escalated into a violent stabbing that left a man seriously injured and another facing attempted homicide charges.
The incident unfolded Saturday night, March 28 on Westmoreland Road, where a verbal dispute inside a residence quickly turned physical and spilled outside.
By the time officers arrived, the situation had already escalated.
A man later identified as Timothy Rosario, 29, was seen standing in the street holding a large stick over his head near the victim.

Officers ordered him to drop the weapon and took him into custody without further incident.
Nearby, the victim was covered in blood and holding his head as officers rushed to provide aid.
Authorities said the victim suffered multiple stab wounds, including injuries to the head, stomach and shoulder, and was transported to a Pittsburgh-area hospital for further treatment.
Investigators say the confrontation began when the victim arrived home and became involved in an argument with Rosario inside the residence before it turned violent outside.
A knife believed to have been used in the stabbing was later recovered in the driveway.

Rosario is now facing multiple charges, including attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.
