Man Threatened at Gunpoint in Southeast D.C. Robbery

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Police are seeking help in identifying a suspect who robbed a victim in Southeast D.C. after threatening to use a firearm.

The incident occurred around 11:00 a.m. on October 1 in the 4500 block of Bowen Road, Southeast. The suspect approached the victim at his vehicle, threatened to use a firearm, and demanded the victim step away from the car. After the victim complied, the suspect stole the victim’s property and fled.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to call (202) 727-9099 or text 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
