In a racist, anti-immigration rant, disgraced former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann wants President Joe Biden to use his presidential powers
recently stirred controversy by calling for Elon Musk’s deportation in a video promoting his podcast. The former MSNBC host’s remarks were fueled by Musk’s recent criticisms of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and his public support for the Republican presidential nominee on X, the social media platform Musk owns.
There’s just one problem in Olbermann’s plan, Musk is a U.S. citizen.
Olbermann argued that Musk’s comments spread misinformation about FEMA’s response to disasters, as the Biden administration faced backlash over mixed messaging on whether FEMA was aiding migrants in the affected regions.
Olberman went further, suggesting that President Biden could use presidential immunity to remove Musk from the country and urged the cancellation of Musk’s government contracts with Tesla, SpaceX, and other companies. The irony of Olbermann’s call is that he posted the video on X, the very platform owned by Musk.
Those post on X by the former left-wing media television personality get between 100 and 500 likes. It seems he’s too far out there, even for the left.
Elon Musk, meanwhile, has been vocal about the importance of the 2024 election for free speech and has recently endorsed Trump’s character amid ongoing controversies.
