Subway groping suspect wanted after woman assaulted at Brooklyn station

Brooklyn, NY — A woman entering a subway station was targeted in a forcible touching incident, prompting police to search for a suspect who fled moments after the encounter.

The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. April 17 at the Nostrand Avenue subway station. Police said a 21-year-old woman was entering the turnstiles when an unidentified individual approached and grabbed her buttocks.

Authorities said the suspect immediately fled on foot and has not been located.

No injuries were reported, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
