A lucky New York Lottery player matched all five numbers to claim the top prize after purchasing a ticket at a Manhattan neighborhood store.

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — A New York Lottery player is holding a top-prize winning ticket worth $17,908 after it was sold in Manhattan for the July 7 midday TAKE 5 drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at FT Washington Candy & Grocery, located at 802 W. 181st St. in Manhattan.

The ticket matched all five numbers drawn to claim the game’s top prize.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39, with drawings held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

New York Lottery draw game prizes may be claimed for up to one year from the date of the drawing.
