North Beach Powerball player snags $50K prize with lucky ticket
NORTH BEACH, MD — A Powerball ticket purchased at a North Beach convenience store turned into a $50K win after Wednesday night’s drawing produced another major Maryland prize.
Maryland Lottery officials said the winning ticket was sold at Fastop Food Store located at 8834 Chesapeake Avenue in North Beach.
The May 6 Powerball numbers were 18, 27, 51, 65, 68, with a Powerball of 05.
The player matched four white balls and the Powerball to secure the third-tier prize worth $50K.
Lottery officials advised the winner to sign the ticket immediately and keep it in a safe place until claiming the prize.
Winners have 182 days from the drawing date to claim winnings through Maryland Lottery headquarters.
