Early morning break-in under investigation

Detectives with the Richmond Police Department’s Third Precinct are investigating the incident, which took place at approximately 3:15 a.m. on April 5. An unknown male suspect was recorded on a store surveillance camera inside a locked commercial property located in the 3400 block of West Cary Street.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was seen stealing cash from the business before fleeing the scene. Police have not disclosed the name of the business or the amount of money taken.

Photos released to aid public appeal

Police have released surveillance images of the individual in an effort to gather leads. The man’s method of entry has not been revealed, and authorities have not confirmed if the suspect was acting alone or had assistance.
