**Montclair Trunk or Treat Event Scheduled for October 26**

**MONTCLAIR, NJ -** The Montclair Police Department, in partnership with the Montclair Police Foundation, announced their 7th Annual Trunk or Treat event. It will take place on Saturday, October 26, at 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Montclair Police Headquarters located at 647 Bloomfield Avenue.

The Trunk or Treat event offers an alternative for the community’s youth to traditional trick-or-treating. This initiative aims to provide a safe and fun environment for children. The event is free for all participants.

As part of the community event, vehicles will be decorated and filled with candy. Children are encouraged to visit each vehicle to collect treats in a safe enclosed space. This setup allows for a more controlled environment compared to door-to-door trick-or-treating.

The Montclair Police Department frequently collaborates with the Montclair Police Foundation to promote community policing and engagement. This event underlines their ongoing commitment to fostering positive relationships with Montclair residents. Stay updated with event details through social media channels, using hashtags such as #montclairpolicenj, #montclairnj, and #trunkortreat.
