According to Pennsylvania State Police, the pursuit intensified in Butler Township during the morning hours on December 30, when troopers attempted to stop the stolen vehicle. The suspect fled on foot, fired more shots, committed a home invasion, and stole another car.

The chase concluded in Barnesville, Schuylkill County, when troopers deployed spike strips, causing the suspect to crash. Dramatic video footage captured the final moments of the pursuit and the subsequent arrest of the suspect.

Law enforcement agencies from multiple jurisdictions continue to investigate the suspect’s actions, which spanned at least three states. No injuries were reported during the chase.
