WASHINGTON, D.C. — A burst of gunfire tore through a Southeast neighborhood late Saturday night, leaving behind damaged cars and buildings as multiple suspects fled in vehicles.

The incident unfolded around 11:00 p.m. on March 14 in the rear alley of the 1500 block of A Street Southeast.

According to investigators, several individuals entered the alley and began firing multiple guns, spraying the area with bullets.

No injuries were reported, but the gunfire caused property damage to nearby vehicles and structures.

The suspects quickly fled the scene in multiple vehicles before officers arrived.

Detectives have since recovered surveillance footage and are now looking to identify and speak with six persons of interest connected to the shooting.

Authorities are offering up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
